Twilight Premire

Tonight is probably considered one of the most exciting nights of my teenage life. I am going with my mother and one of my best friends to see the midnight premire of Twilight! Robert Pattison, Tyler Lautner, and Jackson Rathbone all on the same big screen! It's every girl's dream! I am super excited and cannot wait for midnight. Right now, it's 9:30 and my friend is over reading New Moon (she's re-reading it) and my mom is trying to get in some hours of sleep before we leave. But the theater is going to be packed, so that's something worrisome. Wish us luck in trying to get a seat!

Anyway, I hope that all who are privileged enough to see Twilight enjoy it! I hope it's as good as they say! (:

New Obsessions?

Hello!

My name is Elspeth, or at least that's the name I go by here on Blogger.com, and welcome to my first post as an official member!

Adore - 2: to regard with loving admiration and devotion.
3: to be very fond of.

Most of you are probably wondering why the random definition of the word 'adore.' That will be explained in a few sentences. Regarding that word, I'm sure most of you adore something. Whether it be a boyfriend or girlfriend or perhaps an object. Either way, each of you has adored one thing or another at some point in your life. So you'll relate to me when I say that I have a book that I absolutely adore! I am proud to announce that that book is...

Generation Dead! It is a cute love story about a strange phenomenon that occured throughout the United States amongst teenagers: Deceased teens have risen from the dead! Now, the dead or "living impaired" students have returned to their lives of school and social living. However, all the dead are not treated with the respect they deserve. Most of them are ridiculed, hurt, or worse, killed again. Enter the world of Oakvale High, Connecticut, where zombies thrive in the school's hallways, trying to go about their days as any normal living student. When goth girl Pheobe falls for one of the local zombies, Tommy Williams, it causes a strange clash against living and undead. What could possibly come of this? Perhaps peace shall be established amongst the living and dead? Maybe more havoc. Who can tell? You'll have to read to find out what happens...

I highly recommend you go out and purchase that wonderful story! I have fallen in love with Tommy Williams! Now, if only he truly existed! It's sort of like my adoration for Edward Cullen. (;

Well, I certainly hope you enjoyed reading about my most recent obessions and be sure to stop by for more Generation Dead-related posts. Of course, it all won't be about Generation Dead or Tommy. Other posts will regard other aspects of my life such as school, boys, or other such subjects. More than likely I'll have some of my tangents posted on here as well! So, keep an eye out (or as the rumor says about Tommy: keep your eyes in!).
